Terrarium für Wüstentiere.
150 cm lang, 80cm hoch, 60cm tief.

Mit Schrank und Abdeckung ca. 196cm hoch.

Der Unterschrank ist aus Akazien Massivholz. Er muss nicht zwingend dazu genommen werden. Wäre aber schön.

Die Abdeckung wurde aus Kiefer-Platten gefertigt. Da ich einen Vernebler unter der Abdeckung hatte, ist sie etwas höher. Man kann sie aber auch noch einkürzen, damit sie nicht so wuchtig ist. So passen aber auch noch gut Wärmelampen drunter.

Die Scheiben sind nicht super sauber geputzt.
Normalerweise sind sie glasklar und gut gepflegt.

Die Rückwand wurde aufwendig aus Styropor geformt und mehrfach mit Fliesenkleber bestrichen, so dass eine feste Felswand entstanden ist. Zum Schluss ist noch eine leichte Schicht mit losem Sand für eine bessere Stein-Optik drauf gekommen.
Viele kleine Details, Felsenmalereien. Vielleicht erkennt der ein oder andere auch den berühmten Delicate Arche aus dem Arche Nationalpark in den USA.
Der Bogen kann auch entfernt werden.

Die Frontscheiben laufen leichtgängig auf Rollen und die Scheiben zueinander haben eine Abdichtung, damit Futtertieren nicht aus dem Terra flüchten können. Glasstärke 5mm!

Technik
Tagesliicht mit 2 LED dimm- und steuerbaren Leisten. So wie eine LED Leiste mit bläulichen Licht für eine schöne Abenddämmerung.
Wärmelampen mit und ohne Vorschaltgerät für UV und normale Wärmelampen.

Achtung! Das Terrarium ist sehr schwer.

Ich hatte Dornschwanzagamen, Uromastyx ocelatta, in dem Terrarium gehalten. Aber es eignet sich natürlich auch sehr gut für andere, nicht zu große Arten. Für Leopardgeckos gibt es z.B auch einige Spalten, da ich mir damals offen gehalten habe, eventuell Leopardgeckos in dem Terrarium zu halten.

In dem Terrarium stecken viele Stunden Arbeit und auch einiges an Geld. Grob überschlagen für die Materialien ohne Arbeitsstunden ca. 2000€.
