I have Mearnsiana bullosa eggs available and would like to exchange them for one or more of the following stick insect species:

Gebe drei Racks die zur Aufzucht von baumbewohnenden Geckos / Schlangen gut geeignet sind ab. Die Racks sind mit einer Heizung in der Rückwand versehen welche über ein Thermostat gesteuert werden kann / sollte. Die Braplast Dosen (5,8 Liter) sind mit dabei. Die Deckel sind gelocht und die Dosen natürlich gereinigt. Die Maße eines Racks sind : Höhe 201cm, Tiefe 22cm, Breite 23,5cm. Der Preis ist 60 Euro pro Rack. Alle drei für 150 Euro.

Wegen Bestandsauflösung und aus Zeitgründen gebe ich meine beiden Landschildkröten ab.
Die beiden sind seit 1 Woche aus dem Winterschlaf und putzmunter am Futter.
Der Winterschlaf erfolgte ca 3 Monate von Mitte Dezember bis Mitte März in einem konstant kühlen Raum von 0-8 Grad.
Sie werden im Terrarium mit Wärmelampen und Unterstellhäuschen gehalten.
Wenn das Thermometer höher steigt (über 10 Grad) dürfen sie ins Freigehege, das ebenfalls mit Wärmelampen, L-Steinstrahler und UV Licht ausgestattet ist.
Am Liebsten fressen sie Löwenzahn (Blätter und in Kürze die gelben Blüten), bekommen Sepiaschale für den Panzer und Mineralien.

Auch wenn diese Geräte sehr zuverlässig und langlebig sind, kann man sich auf die Temperaturskala nicht 100 % verlassen.
Aber Trick: Einfach den Regler voll aufdrehen und mit einem Thermometer die Temperatur beobachten. Hat man die Wunschtemperatur erreicht, einfach den Regler soweit runterdrehen bis der Themostat ausgeht.
