Ich habe Nachzuchten meiner Madagaskar Fauchschaben abzugeben. Sie verdanken ihren Namen der Fähigkeit durch schnelles Luft durch ihre Tracheen ein fauchendes Geräusch zu erzäugen - also nicht erschrecken:) Sie stammen aus dem trockenen Dornenwald in Madagaskar und verstecken sich gerne im Laub oder unter Wurzel, das sollte also im Terrarium auch nicht fehelen. Die Tiere sind einfach zu halten und benötigen eine Temperatur von 25-30°C sowie eine Luftfeuchtigkeit von 50-70%. Sie Ernähren sich von Gemüse und Obst (z.B. Gurken, Karotten, Süßkartoffel, Äpfel, Bananen) sowie Proteinen (Katzentrockenfutter, Fischfutter, getrocknete Bachflohkrebse oder Mehlfürmer). Man sollte sie in Gruppen von mindestens 10 Tieren halten, ich gebe immer Tiere von beiden Geschlechtern und in unterschiedlichem Alter (Nymphen/sub-Adulte/Adulte) mit. Wenn Sie besondere Wünsche bezüglich Alter oder Geschlecht haben kann ich natürlich auch darauf eingehen.

Biete nymphen der für ihr schönes Muster bekannten Fragezeichenschabe. Die Tiere sind Anfangs noch braun und entwickeln die typische Färbung erst mit der adulthäutung. Als Jungtiere bewohnen sie eher das Substrat und später lassen sich immer welche an Oberfläche blicken.

Nahrung: Gemüse und Obst wie Gurken, Karotten, Äpfel, Süßkartoffeln oder Bananen, Fischfutterflocken oder getrocknete Gammarus als Proteinfutter und Weißfaules Holz (besonders wichtig für die Nymphen).

Temperatur: 23-26°C
